Between cold weather and the Christmas holidays, training has rather inconsistent. However, Gyp is coming along nicely and is now starting to feel her sheep and settle down. Hopefully the weather holds. As long as the snow doesn't get too deep, we'll keep working. Most years the snow is already too deep by now!

The dogs taking off on their daily run. We live at the bottom of a beautiful valley. Pretty much every day, the dogs and I do "the loop". I'll admit that when it's cold, the dogs look forward to it more than I do! 

No need for snowshoes this year when we hiked up to our usual picnic spot at the top of the valley. Still the dogs had a great time, and we had a great lunch with a gorgeous view.
